Gym resolutioners reddit12/15/2023 Calling yourself such is setting yourself up for failure. Until then, I would love to hear how going to the gym affects everyone else's energy levels.įor starters, you're only an annoying resolutioner if you peter out and give up after a couple of months. I'm hoping its the former due to the fact that morning workouts would better fit my schedule so I'm just going to give it some time for now. I'm wondering, either (a) this is because I'm a newb and my body is just not used to these intense workouts and over time I'll also feel energized after a workout or (b) my body just reacts differently and instead of working out in the morning I should workout at night. After working out, I just want to eat a large meal and sleep. I found the opposite to be true for myself. I was talking with a few coworkers and they claimed that going to the gym before work "energizes" them and even though they have to wake up earlier, end up feeling less tired throughout the day. One out of many reasons I joined the gym was due to my fatigue. So I apologize but I'm one of those annoying "resolutioners" (gotta start somewhere I guess).
